حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ النَّخْلِ حَتَّى يَزْهُوَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَنِ السُّنْبُلِ حَتَّى يَبْيَضَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيَأْمَنَ الْعَاهَةَ نَهَى الْبَائِعَ وَالْمُشْتَرِيَ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کھجور کو پکنے سے پہلے بیچنے سے منع فرمایا ہے اور بالی کو بھی یہاں تک کہ وہ سوکھ جائے اور آفت سے مامون ہو جائے بیچنے والے، اور خریدنے والے دونوں کو منع کیا ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn Umar: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم forbade selling palm-trees till the dates began to ripen, and ears of corn till they were white and were safe from blight, forbidding it both to the buyer and to the seller.
