Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: I swear by Allah, I shall not accept gift from anyone after this day except from an immigrant Qarashi, an Ansari a Dawsi or a Thaqafi.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّازِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْفَضْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ وَايْمُ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا أَقْبَلُ بَعْدَ يَوْمِي هَذَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ هَدِيَّةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ مُهَاجِرًا قُرَشِيًّا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ أَنْصَارِيًّا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ دَوْسِيًّا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ ثَقَفِيًّا .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: قسم اللہ کی! میں آج کے بعد سے مہاجر، قریشی، انصاری، دوسی اور ثقفی کے سوا کسی اور کا ہدیہ قبول نہ کروں گا ۱؎ ۔
