Narrated Abdullah ibn Masud: The bone dearer to the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was the bone of sheep.

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ أَحَبُّ الْعُرَاقِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عُرَاقَ الشَّاةِ .

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو «عراق» ( نلی ) ۱؎ میں سب سے زیادہ پسند بکری کی «عراق» ( نلی ) تھی۔
