Baab Sunnah Ki Ehmiyat O Fazilat

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ وَلَدٍ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أُطِيلُ ذَيْلِي وَأَمْشِي فِي الْمَكَانِ الْقَذِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ يُطَهِّرُهُ مَا بَعْدَهُ .

Urdu Translation

ابراہیم بن عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف کی ام ولد (حمیدہ) سے روایت ہے کہ   کہ انہوں نے ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کہ میں اپنا دامن لمبا رکھتی ہوں ( جو زمین پر گھسٹتا ہے ) اور میں نجس جگہ میں بھی چلتی ہوں؟ تو ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے: اس کے بعد کی زمین ( جس پر وہ گھسٹتا ہے ) اس کو پاک کر دیتی ہے ۔

English Translation

Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Muminin: The slave-mother of Ibrahim ibn Abdur Rahman ibn Awf asked Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم: I am a woman having a long border of clothe and I walk in filthy place; (then what should I do?). Umm Salamah replied: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: What comes after it cleanses it.
