Baab Qurbani Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يَمْسَحَنَّ يَدَهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَهَا أَوْ يُلْعِقَهَا .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص کھانا کھائے تو اپنا ہاتھ اس وقت تک رومال سے نہ پونچھے جب تک کہ اسے خود چاٹ نہ لے یا کسی کو چٹا نہ دے ۔

English Translation

Ibn Abbas reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: When one of you eats, he must not wipe his hand with a handkerchief till he licks it or gives it to someone to lick.
