حَدَّثَنَ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ الْقَنَّادِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيًانَ: أَنّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ رُكُوبِ النِّمَارِ وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الذَّهَبِ إِلَّا مُقَطَّعًا ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: أَبُو قِلَابَةَ لَمْ يَلْقَ مُعَاوِيَةَ.
معاویہ بن ابی سفیان رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چیتوں کی کھال پر سواری کرنے اور سونا پہننے سے منع فرمایا ہے مگر جب «مقطّع» یعنی تھوڑا اور معمولی ہو ۱؎۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: ابوقلابہ کی ملاقات معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے نہیں ہے۔
Narrated Muawiyah ibn Abu Sufyan: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم forbade to ride on panther skins and to wear gold except a little. Abu Dawud said: The narrator Abu Qilabah did not meet Muawiyah.
