حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ رُؤَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ أَخْبِرْنِي مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَلِجُ النَّارَ رَجُلٌ صَلَّى قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْهُ ؟ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏كُلُّ ذَلِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ:‏‏‏‏ وَأَنَا سَمِعْتُهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ .

Urdu Translation

عمارہ بن رویبہ کہتے ہیں کہ   اہل بصرہ میں سے ایک آدمی نے ان سے پوچھا اور کہا: آپ مجھے ایسی بات بتائیے جو آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنی ہو، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ہے: وہ آدمی جہنم میں داخل نہ ہو گا جس نے سورج نکلنے سے پہلے اور سورج ڈوبنے سے پہلے نماز پڑھی ، اس شخص نے کہا: کیا آپ نے یہ بات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنی ہے؟ یہ جملہ اس نے تین بار کہا، انہوں نے کہا: ہاں، ہر بار وہ یہی کہتے تھے: میرے دونوں کانوں نے اسے سنا ہے اور میرے دل نے اسے یاد رکھا ہے، پھر اس شخص نے کہا: میں نے بھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اسے فرماتے سنا ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Umarah ibn Ruwaybah: A man from Basrah said: Tell me what you heard from the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say: No one will enter Hell who has prayed before the rising of the sun and before its setting (meaning the dawn and the afternoon prayers). He said three times: Have you heard it from him? He replied: Yes, each time saying: My ears heard it and my heart memorised it. The man then said: And I heard him (the Prophet) say that.
