Sunan Abu Dawood 4444 - Prescribed Punishments (Kitab Al-Hudud)

Abu Dawud said: A similar tradition has been transmitted by Zakariya bin Salim through a different chain of narrators. This version adds: He (the Prophet) then threw a pebble like a gram at her. He then said: Throw at her and avoid her face. When se died, he took her out and prayed over her. About repentance he said similar to the tradition on Buraidah.

قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ حُدِّثْتُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ بِإِسْنَادِهِ نَحْوَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏زَادَ ثُمَّ رَمَاهَا بِحَصَاةٍ مِثْلَ الْحِمِّصَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ارْمُوا وَاتَّقُوا الْوَجْهَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا طَفِئَتْ أَخْرَجَهَا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ فِي التَّوْبَةِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ بُرَيْدَةَ.

ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں   مجھ سے یہ حدیث عبدالصمد بن عبدالوارث کے واسطہ سے بیان کی گئی ہے، زکریا بن سلیم نے اسی سند سے اسی جیسی حدیث بیان کی ہے، اس میں اتنا اضافہ ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے چنے کے برابر ایک کنکری سے مارا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مارو لیکن چہرے کو بچا کر مارنا پھر جب وہ مر گئی تو آپ نے اسے نکالا، پھر اس پر نماز پڑھی، اور توبہ کے سلسلہ میں ویسے ہی فرمایا جیسے بریدہ کی روایت میں ہے۔
