حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَزَّازُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمَخْرَمِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ أَحْدَثَ فِي أَمْرِنَا هَذَا مَا لَيْسَ فِيهِ فَهُوَ رَدٌّ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ ابْنُ عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ صَنَعَ أَمْرًا عَلَى غَيْرِ أَمْرِنَا فَهُوَ رَدٌّ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو ہمارے اس دین میں کوئی ایسی نئی بات پیدا کرے جو اس میں نہیں ہے تو وہ مردود ہے ۔ ابن عیسیٰ کی روایت میں ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو کوئی ایسا کام کرے جو ہمارے طریقے کے خلاف ہو تو وہ مردود ہے ۔

English Translation

Aishah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: if any one introduces into this affair of ours anything which does not belong to it, it is rejected. Ibn Isa said: the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: if anyone practices any action in away other than our practice, it is rejected.
