حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الشَّعِيرِيُّ الْمَعْنَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا أَدْرِي أَتُبَّعٌ لَعِينٌ هُوَ أَمْ لَا ؟ وَمَا أَدْرِي أَعُزَيْرٌ نَبِيٌّ هُوَ أَمْ لَا ؟ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مجھے نہیں معلوم کہ تبع قابل ملامت ہے یا نہیں، اور نہ مجھے یہ معلوم ہے کہ عزیر نبی ہیں یا نہیں ۱؎ ۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: I do not know whether Tubba was accursed or not, and ‘Uzair (Azra was a prophet or not).
