حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْإِيمَانُ بِضْعٌ وَسَبْعُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَفْضَلُهَا قَوْلُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَدْنَاهَا إِمَاطَةُ الْعَظْمِ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْحَيَاءُ شُعْبَةٌ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ایمان کی ستر سے کچھ زیادہ شاخیں ہیں، ان میں سب سے افضل لا إله إلا الله کہنا، اور سب سے کم تر راستے سے ہڈی ہٹانا ہے ۲؎، اور حیاء ایمان کی ایک شاخ ہے ۳؎ ۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Faith has over seventy branches, the most excellent of which is the declaration that there is no god but Allah, and the humblest of which is the removal of a bone from the road. And modesty is a branch of faith.
