حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَغَرِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النبي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَنْزِلُ رَبُّنَا عز وجل كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى سَمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَتَّى يَبْقَى ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْآخِرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ ؟ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ ؟ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ ؟ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہمارا رب ہر رات آسمان دنیا پر اترتا ہے، جب رات کا آخری تہائی حصہ باقی رہ جاتا ہے اور کہتا ہے: کون ہے جو مجھے پکارے، میں اس کی پکار کو قبول کروں؟ کون ہے جو مجھ سے مانگے میں اسے دوں؟ کون ہے جو مجھ سے مغفرت طلب کرے میں اسے معاف کر دوں ۱؎ ۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying; Our lord gets down every night to the heaven of this world when a third night remains and says: (Is there anyone) who prays to Me so that I may accept his prayer? (Is there anyone) who asks of Me so that I may give him? (Is there anyone) who asks for my forgiveness so that I may forgive him?
