حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ السَّرْحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي مَرْحُومٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ:‏‏‏‏ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ كَظَمَ غَيْظًا وَهُوَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى أَنْ يُنْفِذَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏دَعَاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَتَّى يُخَيِّرَهُ اللَّهُ مِن الْحُورِ الْعِينِ مَا شَاءَ ،‏‏‏‏ قال أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ اسْمُ أَبِي مَرْحُومٍ:‏‏‏‏ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ.

Urdu Translation

معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے اپنا غصہ پی لیا حالانکہ وہ اسے نافذ کرنے پر قادر تھا تو قیامت کے دن اللہ تعالیٰ اسے سب لوگوں کے سامنے بلائے گا یہاں تک کہ اسے اللہ تعالیٰ اختیار دے گا کہ وہ بڑی آنکھ والی حوروں میں سے جسے چاہے چن لے ۔

English Translation

Narrated Muadh ibn Jabal: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: if anyone suppresses anger when he is in a position to give vent to it, Allah, the Exalted, will call him on the Day of Resurrection over the heads of all creatures, and ask him to choose any of the bright and large eyed maidens he wishes.
