حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ السَّرْحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَخْلَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الشَّمْسِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ مَخْلَدٌ:‏‏‏‏ فِي الْفَيْءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَلَصَ عَنْهُ الظِّلُّ وَصَارَ بَعْضُهُ فِي الشَّمْسِ وَبَعْضُهُ فِي الظِّلِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلْيَقُمْ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ابوالقاسم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی دھوپ میں ہو ( مخلد کی روایت ) سایہ میں ہو، پھر سایہ اس سے سمٹ گیا ہو اس طرح کہ اس کا کچھ حصہ دھوپ میں آ جائے اور کچھ سایہ میں رہے تو چاہیئے کہ وہ اٹھ جائے ۱؎ ۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Hurairah: Abul Qasim صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: When one of you is in the sun (Shams)--Makhlad's version has fay --and the shadow withdraws from him so that he is partly in sun and partly in shade, he should get up.
