حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رضي الله عنه وَعُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ كَانَا يَفْعَلَانِ ذَلِكَ.

Urdu Translation

سعید بن مسیب کہتے ہیں کہ   عمر بن خطاب اور عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہما بھی اسے کیا کرتے تھے۔

English Translation

Saeed bin al-musayyab said: Umar bin al-khattab and Uthman bin Affan used to do that.
