Sunan Abu Dawood 4929 - General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَعِنْدَهَا مُخَنَّثٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ يَقُولُ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخِيهَا:‏‏‏‏ إِنْ يَفْتَحْ اللَّهُ الطَّائِفَ غَدًا دَلَلْتُكَ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ تُقْبِلُ بِأَرْبَعٍ وَتُدْبِرُ بِثَمَانٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْرِجُوهُمْ مِنْ بُيُوتِكُمْ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ الْمَرْأَةُ كَانَ لَهَا أَرْبَعُ عُكَنٍ فِي بَطْنِهَا.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کے ہاں تشریف لائے ان کے پاس ایک ہجڑا بیٹھا ہوا تھا اور وہ ان کے بھائی عبداللہ سے کہہ رہا تھا: اگر کل اللہ طائف کو فتح کرا دے تو میں تمہیں ایک عورت بتاؤں گا، کہ جب وہ سامنے سے آتی ہے تو چار سلوٹیں لے کر آتی ہے، اور جب پیٹھ پھیر کر جاتی ہے تو آٹھ سلوٹیں لے کر جاتی ہے، تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: انہیں اپنے گھروں سے نکال دو ۱؎ ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: «تقبل بأربع» کا مطلب ہے عورت کے پیٹ میں چار سلوٹیں ہوتی ہیں یعنی پیٹ میں چربی چھا جانے کی وجہ سے خوب موٹی اور تیار ہے۔

English Translation

Umm Salamah said that the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came upon her when there was with her a hermaohrodite (mukhannath) who said to her brother Abdullah (b. Abi Umayyah): if Allah conquers al-Ta’if for you tomorrow, I shall lead you to a woman who has four folds of fats in front and eight behind. Thereupon the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Put them out of your houses. Abu Dawud said: The woman had four folds of fat on her belly.
