Sunan Abu Dawood 5096 - General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab)

Narrated Abu Malik Al-Ashari: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: When a man goes into his house, he should say: O Allah! I ask Thee for good both when entering and when going out; in the name of Allah we have entered, and in the name of Allah we have gone out, and in Allah or Lord do we trust. He should then greet his family.

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ ابْنُ عَوْفٍ وَرَأَيْتُ فِي أَصْلِ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ شُرَيْحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا وَلَجَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْتَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلْيَقُلْ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ الْمَوْلَجِ وَخَيْرَ الْمَخْرَجِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا وَعَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ لِيُسَلِّمْ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ .

ابو مالک اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب کوئی آدمی اپنے گھر میں داخل ہونے لگے تو کہے«اللهم إني أسألك خير المولج وخير المخرج بسم الله ولجنا وبسم الله خرجنا وعلى الله ربنا توكلنا» اے اللہ! ہم تجھ سے اندر جانے اور گھر سے باہر آنے کی بہتری مانگتے ہیں، ہم اللہ کا نام لے کر اندر جاتے ہیں اور اللہ ہی کا نام لے کر باہر نکلتے ہیں اور اللہ ہی پر جو ہمارا رب ہے بھروسہ کرتے ہیں پھر اپنے گھر والوں کو سلام کرے۔
