Sunan Abu Dawood 5154 - General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَا يُؤْذِ جَارَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص اللہ اور یوم آخرت ( قیامت ) پر ایمان رکھتا ہو تو اسے چاہیئے کہ اپنے مہمان کی عزت کرے۔ اور جو اللہ اور یوم آخرت پر ایمان رکھتا ہو تو وہ اپنے پڑوسی کو تکلیف نہ دے، اور جو اللہ اور یوم آخرت پر ایمان رکھتا ہو تو وہ اچھی بات کہے یا چپ رہے ۔

English Translation

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: He who believes in Allah and in the last day should honour his guest; he who believes in Allah and in the last day should not harm his neighbor; he who believes in Allah and in the last day should speak good or keep silence.
