Baab Sunnah Ki Ehmiyat O Fazilat

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا نَتَوَضَّأُ نَحْنُ وَالنِّسَاءُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ نُدْلِي فِيهِ أَيْدِيَنَا .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں ہم اور عورتیں مل کر ایک برتن سے وضو کرتے، اور ہم اپنے ہاتھ اس میں ( باری باری ) ڈالتے تھے۔

English Translation

Narrated Abd Allaah bin Umar: We (men) and women during the life-time of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to perform ablution from one vessel. We all put our hands in it.
