Sunan Abu Dawood 851 - Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)

Baab Taharat Aur Us Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَخِي الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْمَوْلًى لِأَسْمَاءَ ابْنَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُنَّ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا تَرْفَعْ رَأْسَهَا حَتَّى يَرْفَعَ الرِّجَالُ رُءُوسَهُمْ كَرَاهَةَ أَنْ يَرَيْنَ مِنْ عَوْرَاتِ الرِّجَالِ .

Urdu Translation

اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتی ہیں کہ   میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: تم میں سے جو عورت اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتی ہو، وہ اپنا سر ( سجدے سے ) اس وقت تک نہ اٹھائے جب تک کہ مرد نہ اٹھا لیں، اس اندیشہ سے کہ ان کی نظر کہیں مردوں کے ستر پر نہ پڑے ۱؎ ۔

English Translation

Narrated Asma daughter of Abu Bakr: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say: One of you who believes in Allah and in the Last Day should not raise her head until the men raise their heads (after prostration) lest they should see the private parts of men.
