Baab Taharat Aur Us Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُمَيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اشْتَكَى أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَشَقَّةَ السُّجُودِ عَلَيْهِمْ إِذَا انْفَرَجُوا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اسْتَعِينُوا بِالرُّكَبِ .

Urdu Translation

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نے آپ سے شکایت کی کہ جب لوگ پھیل کر سجدہ کرتے ہیں تو سجدے میں ہمیں تکلیف ہوتی ہے، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: زانو ( گھٹنے ) سے مدد لے لیا کرو ۱؎ ۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Companions of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم complained to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم about the hardship when they kept their forearms far away from their sides while prostrating. He said: Take help with the elbows (by spreading them on the ground and sticking them to the sides).
