Aalo Baday Recipe – Get the mouth watering Aalo Baday Recipe recipe online from this page. It is easy to prepare and takes normal preparation time. You can serve it as a full course meal for dinner or lunch. Hide

INGREDIENTS

Balls:

500 g potatoes

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tbsp dried pomegranate seeds(optional)

1 tsp cumin seeds

2 green chillies,finely chopped

salt to taste

1/4 cup fresh coriander,chopped

Batter:

1/2 cup gramflour

salt to taste

pinch of baking soda

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

1 tbsp oil

water

METHOD

For the batter,mix batter ingredients and enough water for a thin consistency batter.
Boil and skin potatoes. Mash well.
Mix balls ingredients in a bowl.
Shape into small balls about 1 inch in diameter.
Dip in the batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
Serve immediately with ketchup/tamarind chutney.

Can i also use immli in the recipe of aalo baday if i want to eat more sour aalo? I like this energetic dish, i tried but it was not so sour that is why i will make again it with include immli.

These are comparatively easy to make for the remarkable reactions you get when you give them as surprise. I had to hide them in the house so my family wouldn't steal the ones I made them for teachers.
