Cherry
Cherries are a small, round, dark red stone fruit. It has a long stalk and a fleshy drupe containing a hard stone. They grow on trees in small clusters. Cherries come in two main types: sweet and sour or tart. Cherries also contain fiber, which is important for a healthy digestive system. Diets high in fiber are believed to reduce the risk of colon and rectal cancer and most other diseases involving the digestive tract.
