  1. 1/2 cup Pigeon peas
  2. 1 Raw mango chopped
  3. 4 Whole red chilies
  4. 4 Garlic cloves
  5. to taste Salt
  6. 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  7. 1 tbsp Butter
  8. for Baghaar
  9. 2 cloves Garlic
  10. 1 small packet Butter.
  11. 2 tbsp Oil
  • Wash 1/2 cup pigeon peas with lukewarm water and boil in hot water.Grind together 4 whole red chilies, 4 cloves of garlic with skin.
  • Mash the boiled lentil well. Add in prepared chutney with 1 chopped raw mango, 1 tbsp butter and salt to taste.
  • Cook well.Now in a frying pan heat 1 packet butter and 2 tbsp oil.
  • Add in 2 cloves of chopped garlic. Fry well till golden brown. Now pour this mixture on top of lentil mixture.
