Daal Kay Ban Kabab recipe by Shireen Anwar. This delightful Main Course recipe of Daal Kay Ban Kabab can be ready in approximately 30 Minutes and good to serve around 2-4 People. Follow all the steps recommended by Chef to get a perfect dish. Hide

INGREDIENTS

Chana daal 1 cup
Salt, chili powder ½ tsp each heaped
White and black cumin ½ tsp each heaped
Potatoes boiled and mashed 1 cup
Buns 4
Egg whites beaten 2
Salad leaves as required
Cucumber slices as required
Tomato slices as required
Ingredients for chatni
Mint leaves ¼ bunch
Coriander leaves ½ bunch
Green chilies 4
Tomato 1 small
Khatai powder ½ tsp heaped
Salt ½ tsp
Garlic ½ tsp
Yogurt 3 tbsp

METHOD

Put all Mint leaves ¼ bunch, Coriander leaves ½ bunch, Green chilies 4, Tomato 1 small, Khatai powder ½ tsp heaped, Salt ½ tsp, Garlic ½ tsp, Yogurt 3 tbsp in the blender and blend till smooth.
Method for bun kabab
Boil daal with 1 ½ cup water, salt, chili powder, white and black cumin till tender and dry, chopperize daal and mix with boiled and mashed potatoes, make kababs, dip in stiffly beaten egg whites, shallow fry. Cut buns in half, heat in little oil, spread with chatni, salad leaves fried kababs, cucumber and tomato slice, top with other half of the bun. Serve hot.
