Ingredients
  1. Chickpeas boiled1 cup
    Lemon juice2 tsp
    Tamarind paste½ cup
    Tomato1
    Onion1
    Coriander leaves¼ bunch
    Mint leaves¼ bunch
    Green chilies3 – 4
    Oil2 – 3 tbsp
    Saltto taste
    Crushed red pepper½ tsp
    Dry mango powder½ tsp
    Chaat masala½ tsp
Method
  • Grind together ¼ bunch of coriander leaves, ¼ bunch of mint leave and 3 – 4 green chilies.
    In a pan heat 2 – 3 tbsp oil, add in 1 chopped onion, sauté for a few minutes.
    Add 1 chopped tomato, prepared green paste, salt to taste, ½ tsp crushed red pepper, ½ tsp dry mango powder and ½ tsp chaat masala. Fry very well.
    Then add ½ cup tamarind pulp and cook for a few minutes.
    Lastly add 1 cup boiled chickpeas and fry for a few minutes. Then remove from fire and dish it out.
    Sprinkle with 2 tsp lemon juice and serve hot.
