Ingredients
  1. 750 grams of Chicken
  2. 5 Spring Onions (Hari Pyaaz)
  3. 5 Tomatoes (chopped)
  4. 5 Green Chillies (chopped)
  5. 2 tbsp. of Ginger (chopped)
  6. 4 flakes of Garlic (chopped)
  7. Fresh Coriander Leaves (Hara Dhania) (chopped)
  8. Salt (to taste)
  9. 1/4 tsp. of Red Chilli Powder
  10. A pinch of Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  11. 1/2 cup of Oil
Method
  • 1) Heat the oil and add garlic, ginger, salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Fry for a few minutes over medium heat.
  • 2) Add chicken pieces and fry until golden brown on all sides and cook until tender.
  • 3) Water should evaporate and if you see the substance now oily, add green onions, coriander leaves, green chillies, and tomatoes.
  • 4) Cook for another five minutes in covered pot and serve.
  • Tip: Use long-handled tongs instead of a fork - forks pierce the chicken and allow the flavorful juices to escape.
