Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok, add ½ tsp cumin seeds and fry for a few seconds.
Then add 200 gm soaked apricot, 1 cup orange juice and 2 – 3 plums.
Cook till it comes to a boil. Add 3 tbsp brown sugar, 3 tbsp sugar, salt to taste, 2 tbsp tamarind paste, ½ tsp chili powder and a little water.
Cover and cook on low flame for 8 – 10 minutes.
Now remove the lid, fry well till water is evaporated, dish it out and serve hot.
