Ingredients
  1. Mangoes sliced 3 cups
  2. Apples, chopped 2
  3. Cinnamon 1 ½ tsp
  4. Nutmeg ¼ tsp
  5. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  6. Softened butter ¼ cup
  7. Brown sugar, packed ½ cup
  8. Flour ½ cup
Method
  • Mix sliced mangoes and apples with 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon, the nutmeg, and lemon juice. Place in a buttered Pyrex dish. Set aside.
  • Combine butter and brown sugar until well blended. Cut in flour and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle the topping evenly over fruit slices. Bake at 180 degrees C till golden.
  • Serve warm or cold, with cream or ice cream.
