Roast 3-4 small cardamoms, 2-3 cloves,2-3 cinnamon sticks and 1/2tsp whole cumin, on a hot griddle and grind together
Ina food processor chop together 2-3red chilies, ground spices along with the mince beef.
Heat oil in a pan and fry 4-5 cloves of garlic along with 2 chopped onions.
Add the mince beef and stir until well combined. Now add the fish sauce, 2-3 potatoes, 1 cup coconut milk, 1tbsp curry paste or curry powder and salt as required
Add 1tbsp brown sugar, 2tbsp tamarind paste and 1/ cup roasted peanuts.
Mix well, and then add 1-2 stalks of lemon grass
Serve with steamed rice sprinkled with chopped coriander
