Ingredients
  1. Leg of Mutton 2 kg
  2. Salt as per taste
  3. Garam Masala Powder 2 1/2 tbsp
  4. Yogurt 1 1/2 cup
  5. Cooking Oil 1 1/2
  6. cuGinger Garlic Paste 2 1/2 tbsp
  7. Brown Onion 1 cup
  8. Whole Red Chillies 15-18
  9. Cumin Seeds 1 1/2 tbsp
  10. Whole Coriander 2 1/2 tbsp
Method
  • Crack the mutton leg bone from the middle and make deep cuts.
  • Grind roast red chillies with coriander,cumin and then mix Onion with yogurt salt,ginger
  • garlic paste,garam msala .Marinate the mutton leg with this mixture and
  • refrigerate the leg for 8 hour.In a large pot,Slightly heat Cooking Oil on medium heat for 5 minutes.Place the marianted leg in the pot and cook on the medium heat for 10 minutes.
  • Then lower the flame and cook for 40-45 minutes.Turn the leg on the
  • other side with the help of 2 big spoons and cook for another 40-45 minutes
  • on low heat.
  • Serve with Salad and chatnies.
