Ingredients
  1. 1 md ripe papaya (about 1 pound)
  2. ¼ cups White vinegar
  3. ¼ cups Lemon juice
  4. 1 tbsp Chopped fresh cilantro
  5. 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  6. 1 tbsp Honey
  7. 2 tbsp Grated gingerroot or
  8. ¾ tbsp Ground ginger
  9. ¼ tbsp Chili powder
  10. 1/8 tbsp Ground cinnamon
Method
  • Pare papaya. Cut papaya in half and scoop out centers. Chop papaya finely. Heat all ingredients to boiling in 10-inch skillet; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve warm or cold. About 1-¼ cups sauce; 20 calories per tablespoons. Now serve Papaya Chutney
