1. Soak dried plum in 2 cup hot water for 4 hours.
2. Now take out the water and mix sugar in same water and prepare sugar syrup.
3. Then add salt, red chili powder and plum. Mix well.
4. Now add red color, cardamom powder and melon seeds, mix well and cook for a while.
5. When it comes to boil then remove the flame.
6. Delicious plum chutney is ready to serve.
