Ingredients
  1. • Salt 2 tsp
  2. • Vinegar 1 tsp
  3. • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp
  4. • Black Cardamom Roasted
  5. • Clove (Long) Roasted
  6. • Black Pepper to taste
  7. • Cumin Seeds Roasted
  8. • Pomegranate Seeds to taste
  9. • Chicken (Wirth Skin) 1, 1/4 kg
  10. • Cardamom Green Roasted
  11. • Fennel seeds Roasted
  12. • Coriander Seeds Roasted
  13. • Sajji Special Powder to taste
Method
  • • Use all ingredients in equal quantity
  • • Take a flat pan to soak the lamb leg or chicken for marinating.
  • • Fill the pan with water and then add salt, vinegar, ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  • • Soak the chicken or lamb leg in that mixture and leave for 1 hour.
  • • In the mean time prepare the special sajji spice powder. Make the powder of all the ingredients and mix them well.
  • • After an hour, pierce the chicken or lamb leg on the iron stick for BBQ or you can put it in steamer for about 1 to 1, 1/2 hour.
  • • To add the BBQ flavor put a piece of coal in the steamer.
  • • When the chicken or lamb leg is cooked fully, cut it into pieces and sprinkle the special spice at the end.
  • • Serve hot and enjoy.

Last time I forget to include Ginger Garlic Paste for making Sajji that is why I couldn’t develop the taste which I want to develop. In this weekend I will definitely try once again and sure that every one like this spicy sajji.

wow so yummy ..noor i dont like mutton sajji at all ..i just love to eat chicken sajji.. i eat one whole sajji at a time.people dont believe it but i really did eat one whole at a time..

i really like this sajji i offen go to eat sajji but one thing i wanna ask from all of you that, is there is a mutton sajji as well my friend told me that there a resturent at do darya they have this mutton sajji as well plzz any one tell is this true
