Blend together 6 – 8 boiled red chilies, 1 tomato and ¼ cup water. Blend to a fine paste.
Heat 3 – 4 tbsp oil in a wok, add 1 tbsp garlic paste and sauté for a few seconds.
Now add ½ kg chicken cut into strips, sauté till golden brown.
Add prepared paste, 2 tbsp soya sauce, 2 tbsp Worchester sauce and 4 tbsp tomato ketchup. Cook for 1 – 2 minutes.
Then add salt to taste, ½ tsp white pepper, ½ tsp Chinese salt, 1 chopped capsicum and 1 ½ tbsp lemon juice.
Mix well and cook for 2 – 3 minutes. Lastly thicken mixture with corn flour paste.
Dish it out and serve with fried rice or plain boiled rice.
