Ingredients
  1. Fish1 kg
    Coriander leaves½ bunch
    Mint leaves½ bunch
    Green chilies4
    Garlic8 cloves
    Onion1
    Chili powder1 tsp
    Coriander powder1 tsp
    Turmeric½ tsp
    Salt½ tsp
    Coriander seeds2 tsp
    Tamarind pulp½ cup
    Oil1 cup
Method
  • Marinate fish with salt for 10 – 15 minutes. Then wash the fish and keep aside.
    Heat 1 cup oil in a frying pan, shallow fry the fish until golden brown. Then remove from pan and keep aside.
    Blend together ½ bunch of coriander leaves, ½ bunch of mint leaves, 4 green chilies, 8 cloves of garlic, 1 onion, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp salt, 2 tsp coriander seeds and ½ cup tamarind pulp.
    Now heat 4 tsp oil in a wok, add in blended paste and fry well till oil comes on top.
    Lastly add in fried fish and mix gently. Dish it out and serve hot.
