Ingredients
  1. • 8 oz. mushrooms, washed and trimmed 2 onions
  2. • 1 clove garlic
  3. • 1 tomato
  4. • Oil for frying
  5. • 8 oz. shelled peas
  6. • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  7. • ½ teaspoon garam masala
  8. • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  9. • Salt to taste
Method
  • Cut mushrooms in slices. Slice onions finely, crush garlic, and peel and chop tomato. Fry the onions in a little oil until pale gold. Add garlic and tomato and miSc well. Put in the turmeric, garam masala, chilli powder and mushrooms. Stir and fry for five minutes. Season and add peas, simmer until mush¬rooms are tender, adding a very little water if necessary..
