بنا اذن خدا کے طائرلاہوت کو
پرواز کا پروانہ بھی ملتا نہیں
ہر چند سجا نشاں اپنی جبیں پر
مگر بنا کاوش خدا بھی ملتا نہیں
گر قید اپنی ہی خواہش نفس میں
پھر گلہ بھی کوئ حال جچتا نہیں
