Ingredients
  1. 1 cup flour
  2. ¼ cup cocoa powder
  3. ½ tsp baking soda
  4. ¼ tsp salt
  5. ½ cup milk
  6. ½ cup packed brown sugar
  7. 1 egg
  8. 4 tsp butter, melted
  9. 2 tbsp coffee
  10. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  11. Glaze :
  12. 1 cup icing sugar
  13. 2 tbsp hot water
  14. ½ tsp vanilla essence
  15. Sprinkles to decorate
Method
  • Mix flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
  • In another bowl whisk milk, sugar, egg, butter, coffee and essence till smooth.
  • Add milk mixture to dry mixture, whisk till smooth.
  • Fill each greased doughnut cup ¾ full. Bake at 180 degrees C for 13-15 minutes or till doughnuts spring back
  • when touched.
  • Let cool before removing from tin. Dust with icing sugar.
  • For the glaze, blend icing sugar, essence and hot water .
  • Dip the doughnuts in the glaze and then dip them in sprinkles.
