INGREDIENTS

• 1 chicken
• 3 to 4 cloves garlic
• ¼ papaya
• 2 teaspoons of red chilli
• salt to taste
• 1 medium white onion
• 30 gms ginger
• 4 green chillies
• 115 gms. curd
• oil for basting

METHOD

Cut the chicken into 2 leg pieces and 2 breast pieces. Grind the ginger, garlic, green chillies, red chilli powder, onion and papaya to make a paste. Mix the paste with curd and add salt to taste. Marinate the chicken in the above mixture and keep it aside for about 2 hours. Brush the chicken pieces with oil and cook on a grill or coal fire. Turn the chicken around a few times until it is brown on both sides. Serve with onion rings and lemon.
