Ingredients
  1. Beef 1 kg in thin strips ( boneless)
  2. 200 gm green beans, cut in strips
  3. 200 gm carrots, thinly sliced
  4. 200 gm Cauliflower thinly sliced
  5. 200 gm Chinese cabbage, cut in strips
  6. 4 glasses boiling water
  7. 8 tsp cooking oil
  8. 6 tsp. cornstarch mix in 1/2 cup cold water
  9. 1/2 tsp. ginger paste
  10. 1/8 tsp. garlic paste
  11. 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  12. 3 tbsp viniger
  13. 1 tea spoon chinese salt
  14. salit to taste
Method
  • Trim fat from beef. Slice beef across the grain into thin strips, about 1/8 inch wide and 3 inches long. (It is easier to slice meat thinly if it is partially frozen.)
  • Add vegetables to boiling water.
  • Simmer, covered for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  • Drain. While vegetables are cooking, heat oil in nonstick fry pan.
  • Add beef and stir-fry over moderately high heat, turning pieces constantly until beef is no longer red, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Mix cornstarch mixture ,soya sauce ,viniger,chinese salt into beef.
  • Heat until sauce starts to boil.
  • Serve meat sauce over vegetables.chinese beef and vegetable serve with fried rice.
