INGREDIENTS

Fettuccine 500 gram
butter 2 oz
large leeks, halved and thinysliced 2
ham cut into strip 185 g
red pepper 1
cream 1 cup
freshly ground black pepper

METHOD

Cook fettuccine in boiling water in a large saucepan following packet direction, Drain set, aside and keep warm

Heat butter in large frying pan and cook leeks for 8 minutes or until tender. Add ham and red pepper and cook for 2-3 minute longer. Stir in cream, bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 4-5 minutes..

Add fettuccine to pan and toss to combine. Serve immediately……
