INGREDIENTS

1 medium-sized chicken (disjointed)
2 large onions
1 piece ginger
12 flakes garlic
400 grams spinach
5 green chillies
1/2 cup ghee
a few drops of milk
2 tsps garam masala
salt and chilli powder to taste
2 medium-sized tomatoes
a few drops green food coloring
100 grams cream

METHOD

Grind the onion, ginger and garlic to a pate. Separately, also grind the spinach and green chillies to a paste. Heat the ghee and fry the onion paste, sprinkling a little milk now and then till the ghee floats to the top. Add the chicken, garam masala, salt and chilli powder, and fry to a golden color. Then add the tomatoes and spinach. Cover tight and cook till the chicken is tender. Then open, and keep stirring till the ghee oozes out of the mixture. Mix in the food coloring and remove from fire. Pour cream all over and serve at once.
