Prawn Cutlets (Jinga Tikkia) Recipe

8 oz. peeled or frozen prawns
1 clove garlic
½ -inch fresh root ginger
2 green chillis
Pinch of chilli powder
Pinch of turmeric powder
Pinch freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves salt to taste
Butter for frying
Finely mince the prawns, garlic, ginger, chillis and onion and mix with the ground spices, coriander leaves and salt. Mix in the egg and with floured hands shape into flat cutlets. Coat with breadcrumbs and fry.
