INGREDIENTS

Rice 300 gm
Mince 300 gm
Boiled peas 200 gm
Whole black lentils 100 gm
Onion 1
Potatoes boiled 2
Star anise 4
Green chilies 4
Dry red chilies 6 – 8
Ghee ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Water as required
Salt to taste

METHOD

• Heat ½ cup ghee in a pan, add 1 chopped onion and fry till soft, now add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and fry well till golden brown.
• Add 300 gm beef mince, 4 whole green chilies, 6 – 8 whole red chilies, 4 star anise and salt to taste.
• Now add 2 boiled potatoes cut into cubes, 200 gm boiled peas and 100 gm boiled black lentils.
• Fry for 2 – 3 minutes.
• Add 1 ½ glass of water and cook till it comes to a boil.
• Now add 300 gm soaked rice and cook till water dries.
• Simmer for 8 – 10 minutes till done. Dish it out and serve.
