What is media? This is an
organization with a huge setup and responsibility to update people with current
affairs and keep people in touch with rest of the world.It has a great ability
to affect people mind-set.People have faith on media especially on media persons
that they could not deliver anything wrong.But an important question is that
:"Is really our electronic media doing his job in a right manner"?You can say
that it is but it also showing violence in its behavior and also violates
televise rules by showing continuously painful videos like Sawat and Sialkot
incidences.It also demoralizes by showing dead bodies.Even they comment like
cricket commentators on blasts,how could you do like that on these
occasions?They ex-cruciate people of society by doing this.Is this
professionalism or freedom?They should be responsible.But i also would like to
share a harsh fact that our media has changed our taste.People move on to those
channels which are showing more dead bodies and destruction than previous ones
and people also do not watch those talk shows in which participants are polite
and calm.Think for a moment that where we are standing today?As a student of
journalism,I request my seniors to act in a gentle way and show those things to
people which are free of violence and panic.
