War and the personal interests

Indo-Pak relations

The war between the two nuclear-armed countries is nothing except destruction for not only Indo-Pak but for South Asia as well. Since the attack in Pulwama, all accusations are on Pakistan without any inquiry. The timing of Pulwama incident and the Indian armed forces aggression is quite important by all means, I suppose.

If we take a look at the history of Indo-Pak Since the Partition of British India in 1947, Pakistan and India remained in the constant conflicts over the several issues. Although the Kashmir conflict was the core issue dividing the nations. The issue first arose in 1956 which resulted in regaining control by India over the disputed area. Pakistan fought for the snatched territory controlled by India in January 1965, which was followed by attacks by both countries on each other. In June 1965, British Prime Minister Harold Wilson successfully played a crucial role to end the dispute. The verdict, which came later in 1968, Pakistan awarded 350 square miles (910 km2) of the Rann of Kutch, as against its original claim of 3,500 square miles (9,100 km2)

This was the first suicide car bomb attack in Kashmir since the 2001 strike on the Legislative Assembly in which 41 people including three suicide attackers were killed. Within hours of the incident, India blamed Masood Azhar for an attack by Pakistan. Prime Minister Narender Modi put allegation on Pakistan after a few hours without any stable research. On the same day, Prime Minister Imran Khan in a televised speech on 19 February, responded to the Indian threats by rejecting all allegations by India in the Pulwama attack and asking for a piece of evidence to the involvement of Pakistan and to share any actionable intelligence. Khan also made an offer of talks to India on all issues, including terrorism & Kashmir issue. I reckon the Pulwama incident has much more roots indirectly in the upcoming general elections in India. The Indian general elections are scheduled from April to May 2019. In some of the states, the election has taken place in 2018, where BJP Modi’s party in a lot of trouble due to its aggressive policy that spoils regional peace. The elections result in some states of India, including, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, etc are treating for BJP. In the first four states, (INC) Indian National Congress has formed the government, replacing BJP in three states, while in the last two states, regional parties have come into power.

On Tuesday, Indian fighter jets entered into the Pakistani territory and bombed an alleged terrorist training camp, India’s Balakot airstrike was the violation of international laws. However, on other day Pakistan responded well to show his capability and capacity that was much need and demand of time to avoid any pressure by Indian. Less than 24 hours later, Pakistan counter attacked, shooting down an Indian fighter jet in Pakistan-administered Kashmir and capturing pilot Abhinandan.

India approached its key partners US, UK, France, Russia and others to pressurize Pakistan about the reason for the Balakot strike.

Indian should understand if it goes to attack Pakistan then Pakistan keeps the great capability to respond. Both nuclear powers must not be involved in any kind of war because it will eradicate generations to come. The history hasn't forgotten yet Japan we saw the massacre of World War II, when the United States dropped two nuclear weapons over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945. The two bombings killed approximately, 129,000–226,000 people, most people were civilians. They remain the only use of nuclear weapons in the history of armed conflict. Still, the cities of Japan after conflict are struggling for.

After that Japan surrendered on August 15, six days after the bombing of Nagasaki and the Soviet Union's declaration of war. On September 2, the Japanese government signed the instrument of surrender, effectively ending World War II. The effects of the bombings on the affected cities of Japan is yet can be felt. Half a century has been passed but the damage done to the people is discussed in the pages of history yet.

Political, social, and economic scenario of Japan changed and went into the worst time ever Japan would have seen before and after.

The war between the two nuclear-armed countries is nothing except foolishness.

Narender Modi, the prime minister of India should rethink about its aggressive Pakistan policy as a card to win the election, it will be destructive enough for both countries not only for Pakistan. The Indian people also don't want war as we observed on the twitter # trend in India by saying Modi go back to home we want peace and peace must be privileged. This is the main difference between a politician and a leader. A leader fights election\ for generations and a politician contests election to election. Modi must learn from the firm response given by Pakistan. If it does not stop cross bordering then there are plenty of chances of war which will be out of control from the hands of the Indian Prime Minister.

In the end, I think Imran khan ought not to be elastic enough for peace talks towards India. Yes, releasing the captured pilot is a good sign for peace, but the question arises will India take it positive or negative. In my personal opinion, the negative option I would go for because Modi wants no peace till the election. The pilot should have been in the custody till their demand and table talks for several issues including the Kashmir Issue. It is proper time for Pak to reshuffle his policy in case of Indian aggression.

Pakistan has shown a clear stance towards peace with India and neighboring countries by releasing the Indian arrested pilot. If India doesn't appreciate the step taken by Pakistan then it is the dire need for khan to overlook his soft policy.

"War either hither or thither, proves to be nightmarish all."
