Pakistan has plentiful tourist attractions which are mainly concentrated in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan as well as in Balochistan. Sindh which lies in a comparatively warm region of the country has been gifted by the Almighty Allah with Murree like cool and pleasant place known as “Gorakh Hill Station”.

This hilltop wonder is a part of Kirthar Mountain Range which is about 95 kilometers from Dadu and is connected with the main Indus highway through a link road that is being widened and reconstructed. It is hoped that after the completion of this road the mobility of the populace of the area will be greatly improved.

This tourist attraction is not far from the shrine of the most revered saint of Sindh and the whole country widely known as ‘Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’ located in Sehwan city. Since this hill station is in close proximity of ‘Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’ shrine thus many devotees of that shrine also happen to visit this hill station for a cooler feel to escape the hot scorching summer heat of the city.

The uniqueness of ‘Gorakh Hill station’ is its fast-flowing of streams born out of abundant rainfall in the rainy season when the temperature in the area drops to minus degree the sight gets extremely eye-catching. The cool breeze in the hot summer days attracts a large number of people residing in nearby villages and towns and a number of tourists from all the provinces and regions of the country.

Keeping in view the tourist potential of the sight the Government has embarked upon a program to improve the infrastructure at the site by establishing suitable and affordable residential accommodation with the allied facilities of hotel to facilitate the visitors.

The Gorakh hill area is adventurous in nature replete with abundant Flora and fauna where one can find wild animals and beautiful livestock as well as reptiles. A variety of birds can also be found in this beautiful environment. Moreover, the adventure to the area can lead to a pleasant interaction with the people living in those areas who are cool minded, caring and rich in hospitality.

A visit to the site can result in enjoying the nature and the habitat of the area and give a pleasant environment to the tourist sick of otherwise hot and humid weather. The environment also attracts plenty of rainfall in winter which adds beauty and splendor to already pleasant surroundings.

The Gorakh hill station is the best point for enjoyment while visiting a visitor comes into contact with Nature and enjoys its abundant blessings while performing some recreational activities such as Hunting, Bonfire, Hiking, Trekking, Traditional music, BBQ, Beautiful breathtaking sights and a lot.
