Cricket is one of the most famous game in the world. We feel
proud having national team. If, we talk about Pakistan, its national game
ishockey but people of Pakistan show their interest in cricket.
Team of Pakistan participatesin different matches like one day cricket match,
T20 cricket match and test match. After all these Pakistan cricket board has
started PSL (Pakistan super league)in which international players play in PSL in
which a team makes with different players from different countries.
The names for teams were suggested Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta
Gladiators, Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United previously.
Lets talk about previous winning teams of PSL.
PSL was started in 2015, firstly league was founded with 5 teams and no
comprises with 6 teams including Multan Sultan.
So in 2016 Islamabad United won the first winning title of PSL. In 2017 Peshawar
Zalmi won PSL against Quetta Gladiators. In 2018 Multan Sultan was added in PSL
and 6 teams were associated for PSL from 2018 and this inning of PSL, 2K18 Won
by Islamabad United against Peshawar Zalmi by 3 wickets and this team got two
times winning titles of champion team in PSL. In 2019 Quetta Gladiators won this
inning against Peshawar Zalmi by eight wickets what was the victory really!
Now, PSL 5 was Started on 20 February 2020 and 6 teams were playing in this
fifth season of PSL. This tournament was very interesting. The top teams in the
group of stage were qualified for semifinals.

• Lahore Qalandars
• Peshawar Zalmi
This league was held entiry in Pakistan for the first time. Pakistan was the
host of PSL 5 and the cricket format was 20 and 30 matches were played.
First time in PSL history all the matches were played in four cities of
Pakistan, Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan are the venues of PSL fifth
season 2020, that’s why all the teams have benefit of this PSL 5.
But unfortunately this tournament was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic in late
march 2020 and also one player from Karachi king was infected with COVID 19.then
the PCB looking for a winning team accordingly obtained points but later the PCB
announced that they plan to complete the season 5 of Pakistan Super League in
November 2020.
It was the first time that this season was didn’t complete and we haven’t seen
winning team, but we arehoping good for PSL 5 that according to PCB’s decision
it will continue in November 2020 and we can see our winning team of Pakistan
Super League 5.
