Don't remember days, remember moments
(Noor Abbasi, RAWALPINDI)
While cleaning a bookshelf the phrase "Don't remember days, remember moments" caught my attention. In today's fast-paced world, it can be easy to get caught up in the day-to-day routine and forget to appreciate the small moments that make life worth living. That's why it's important to remember moments, not just days. Maybe the day is awful, there may be some bright moments we don't realize.
It's not the passage of time itself that matters, but rather the experiences and memories that we create during that time. Days may blend together and become forgettable, but the moments that stand out in our minds are the ones that we cherish and hold onto.
You may not remember every single day of a vacation you took years ago, but you may recall the moment you saw a beautiful sunset and the taste of a delicious dish you tried. These moments become memories that we treasure and look back on with fondness. Learn to appreciate the little things and not take them for granted. Thus, days no longer felt like a race to the finish line, but rather a series of moments to be cherished and remembered. Moments are the little things that make life special. A beautiful sunset, a smile from a stranger, a friendly stray cat, a warm hug from a loved one, or a delicious meal shared with friends. These moments might seem small and insignificant, but they are the things that bring joy and meaning to our lives.
Moments are what gives life its flavor; they are the moments we savor. Hold on to them tightly and cherish them with all your might. Time will keep moving on, but the memories of moments won't be gone. Let them fill your heart, and never let them go. So remember moments, not days, because they are the memories that stay, and in them, we find our way through the joys and sorrows of life's array.
